Custom Adobe Commerce Storefront
ERP Integration
60,000+ Product Catalog

PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Challenge
Clampitt Paper is a major U.S. supplier of printing paper, specialty paper, envelopes, and wholesale materials for commercial print shops and creative industries. Their ecommerce needs exceed the capabilities of standard platforms due to the size and depth of their catalog — more than 60,000 unique SKUs spanning grades, finishes, weights, colors, and formats. Their previous digital infrastructure lacked the flexibility and performance required for a catalog of this scale, and could not support the custom workflows needed for B2B ordering, inventory visibility, and pricing synchronization.
Puget Digital was engaged to build a fully custom Adobe Commerce storefront, engineered specifically to handle their extensive product matrix while integrating seamlessly with internal ERP systems that manage pricing, inventory, customer accounts, and fulfillment.
Custom Architecture for a Large-Scale Catalog
A catalog exceeding 60,000 items requires precision engineering. We structured product attributes, unified naming conventions, and developed a scalable system for grades, finishes, weights, and product variations. Adobe Commerce’s flexibility allowed us to implement a custom data model optimized for searchability and performance. The front-end experience was built from the ground up to support professional buyers — printers, designers, and distributors — who rely on accurate product details and bulk ordering capabilities. The ERP integration was custom-built, enabling synchronized: 1. Real-time inventory 2. Tiered and contract pricing 3. Customer accounts and purchase history 4. Order flows and fulfillment data This ensured that B2B buyers receive an accurate and consistent experience across both digital and offline operations.
The Solution
The completed Adobe Commerce storefront delivers stability, scale, and usability tailored to industrial-level ecommerce needs. Performance remains high even with tens of thousands of product records, while navigation and filtering allow customers to quickly identify the right paper specifications across dozens of variables.
With a custom ERP integration, Clampitt now operates a connected system where pricing, orders, and inventory move seamlessly between the ecommerce front end and internal operations. The result is a robust digital storefront that reflects the scale of their business and supports long-term growth in both B2B and B2C markets.
